The hiring manager will not want to wait around for you.
It is always better to be early than late. The suggested time to arrive to an interview is 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Arriving ‘on time’. may even be considered late by some recruiters.
If you are running late the best thing to do is to let them know as soon as possible and give them an estimated time of arrival, keeping them updated on your status.
Before going into any interview, you should understand what the company does and its mission statement. This may be asked in the interview.
You can also research the history of the company and any key achievements.
It is always a good idea to read through your notes just before the interview, even in the waiting room.
Make sure you dress appropriately for the interview, even if its online!
When in the interview room, sit up straight, and keep eye contact when being addressed to.
Don’t be overconfident, the hiring manager will expect you to be nervous. Just be yourself.
